Representatives for the United States at the 2024 Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Motocross of Nations have been finalized. The team will consist of elite motocross riders: Chase Sexton, Chance Hymas, and Aaron Plessinger.
In the forthcoming three-day competition at Matterley Basin in Winchester, U.K., these riders will showcase their skills. Chase Sexton, the 2024 Pro Motocross 450 and 2023 AMA Supercross 450SX champion, leads the American squad. Joining him are Aaron Plessinger and Chance Hymas, both prominent figures in AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross.
Their mission is clear - to restore the United States' dominance on the global motocross stage. This trio of athletes, handpicked for their prowess and patriotism, is poised to make their mark. Team captain Chase Sexton, a previous contributor to the U.S. victory in 2022, will lead the charge in the MXGP Class.
Aaron Plessinger, returning for his second consecutive year, will compete in the Open Class. Youngest among them, Chance Hymas, at 19 years old, will represent the U.S. in the MX2 Class.
Under the guidance of team manager Roger DeCoster, a distinguished figure in motocross, these riders are eager to compete. With a shared desire to see the American flag rise above the podium, they are prepared to give their all. As the event draws near, anticipation builds for the remarkable display of talent and determination at the 2024 Motocross of Nations.
