BMW Introduces the All-New S 1000 XR as a Replacement for its 2020 Model

British automaker BMW has unveiled the all-new S 1000 XR, which serves as a replacement for its previous model launched in 2020. The motorcycle will be available as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and comes with several updates and enhancements. The S 1000 XR offers a range of features and packages to cater to the diverse needs of riders.

Priced at ₹22.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the new BMW S 1000 XR is ₹40,000 more expensive than its predecessor. One of the notable improvements is the increase in power, with the motorcycle boasting an additional 4.9 BHP compared to its older version.

The S 1000 XR is equipped with three additional packages - Touring, Dynamics, and M. These packages provide riders with options to enhance their riding experience based on their preferences.

In terms of design, the BMW S 1000 XR has undergone a complete revamp, particularly focusing on the seats to cater to both track and touring riders. The bike features a seat height of 850mm, which can be further adjusted for a lower position. The beak fenders now match the body color, and the rear of the bike showcases new side panels and air intakes inspired by M sport.

Under the hood, the new S 1000 XR shares the same engine as the S 1000 RR, but with reworked features. It is equipped with an inline 4-cylinder engine that delivers a power output of 167.67 BHP at 11,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 9250 rpm. BMW claims that the motorcycle can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.25 seconds and achieve a top speed of 253 kmph.

Additionally, the S 1000 XR offers various accessories based on the selected package. Customers can choose from the Touring, Dynamics, and M packages, each offering unique features and enhancements.

With its updated design, improved power, and customizable packages, the all-new BMW S 1000 XR aims to provide riders with an exhilarating and personalized riding experience.
