In a move to deepen its connection with its hometown, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a brand-new community park on its Juneau Avenue campus in Milwaukee.

The 4-acre Davidson Park, formerly a parking lot, has been transformed into a lush green space designed to serve the needs and desires of the city's Near West Side residents and visitors. The project was spearheaded by the Harley-Davidson Foundation and developed in partnership with the renowned Heatherwick Studio, along with local firms HGA and Greenfire Management Services.

"This project both celebrates our heritage and reinforces the power of the Harley-Davidson brand to be a force for good within our communities," said Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Harley-Davidson.

At the heart of the park is "The Hub," a multi-use events space and amphitheater surrounded by greenery. The park's Main Street serves as a pedestrian-friendly thoroughfare for community events like farmers' markets and food truck gatherings. Other features include flexible event spaces, playgrounds, lawns, and gardens for relaxation and recreation.

Harley-Davidson emphasized that community input was integral to the park's development, ensuring it meets the needs of local residents. Future plans for the campus include a STEAM Lab and a Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Headquarters, further strengthening the company's ties to Milwaukee.

By creating this new community hub, Harley-Davidson aims to deepen its roots in the city it has called home for over 120 years, while providing a welcoming green space for all to enjoy.
