Vlado Dinga and Ales Tomis form a dynamic duo, renowned for their exceptional work, running Earth Motorcycles in Slovakia, a venture aimed at showcasing their nation's expertise in motorcycle customization. Following the success of their previous creation, Cikula, a striking Honda Dominator, they now introduce Bakula, another masterpiece based on the NX650 model.
Starting with a 1991 Honda base, Bakula underwent a remarkable transformation under the skilled hands of Earth Motorcycles. Stripping away the original bodywork, a new subframe was meticulously crafted, housing integrated LED taillights that serve as turn signals. The handcrafted brown leather saddle sits elegantly atop the custom fuel tank.
The cockpit boasts a minimalist design with a Daytona speedometer, Motone switches, Domino grips, and revamped control levers, complemented by a sleek LED headlight and Highsider blinkers. The bike's profile is enhanced by a 19-inch front wheel, chromed stainless-steel spokes, and Mitas E-07 rubber, while the brakes received a modern update with fresh rotors and pads.
Under the hood, the single-cylinder engine underwent a thorough refurbishment, complete with a bespoke exhaust system and modernized electronics powered by an Aliant LiFePo4 battery and Motogadget controller. Finished in a tasteful white and black color scheme, Bakula stands as a testament to Earth Motorcycles' craftsmanship and attention to detail, setting new standards in the world of custom motorcycles.
