Kawasaki has unveiled the 2025 iteration of the popular Ninja 650 motorcycle in the international markets. For the new model year, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 receives a cosmetic update in the form of two fresh color options - Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Royal Purple, and Metallic Matte Old School Green/Metallic Spark Black.
In addition to the standard variant, Kawasaki has also introduced the Ninja 650 KRT Edition, which features the livery and graphics of the Kawasaki Racing Team. Apart from the new paint schemes, the 2025 Ninja 650 remains mechanically unchanged. The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 67.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 65.76 Nm of peak torque at 6,700 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is known for its sporty styling, which includes an aggressive front headlight design, a muscular fuel tank, a layered fairing, and an upswept tail. Feature-wise, the 2025 model comes equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT color instrument display, LED lighting, and smartphone connectivity. The safety package includes a traction control system, three riding modes, and dual-channel ABS.
In the United States, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is priced at $8,299 for the non-ABS variant and $8,899 for the ABS-equipped version. While the motorcycle is yet to be introduced in the Indian market, it is expected to carry a slight premium over the 2024 model, which is currently priced at Rs. 7.16 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
