Get your engines revving and join Dorset's DocBike for an exhilarating ride for a great cause!
This annual fundraiser, taking place on September 24th, is your chance to support the injury prevention charity by placing trauma doctors and critical care paramedics on two wheels.
Last year's event raised over £8000 with over 400 motorcyclists in attendance, and this year promises to be even better. With two routes to choose from, a 30-mile ride from Alderholt to Henstridge Airfield or a 40-mile ride from West Bay Esplanade in Bridport to Henstridge Airfield, there's a route for every biker.
The charity is dedicated to providing emergency critical care and educating motorcyclists on accident prevention.
To participate, all you need to do is register for £10, which includes entry into the grand raffle. But why stop there? You can raise additional funds by making a donation when registering, raising a minimum of £25 through sponsorship, or purchasing more raffle tickets.
Remember, the charity depends entirely on fundraising and receives no direct funding from the government. A new DocBike costs over £60,000, which includes critical care medical equipment, to help save motorcyclists' lives. So, what are you waiting for? Join the ride to make a difference and support a worthy cause.
