Ducati Panigale V4 Set for Major 2025 Update

Ducati Panigale V4 Set for Major 2025 Update

Rumors of an updated Ducati Panigale V4 for 2025 have been circulating for months, and now Motorcycle.com has obtained proof of the upcoming changes.

The evidence comes from certification data from Switzerland, which lists information on a new Panigale V4 and V4 S. The data reveals a new model code of "5D" for both variants, replacing the current "3D" code used since 2022.

Under the hood, the 2025 Panigale V4 will feature a new engine code of "1100WR" instead of the current "1100WM." While specifics are limited, the data confirms updates to the exhaust system and changes to the peak power and torque figures.

The 2025 model is homologated to produce 213.1 hp at 13,500 rpm, a slight increase from the current 212.6 hp at 13,000 rpm. Torque has also been updated, with the new model claiming 89.2 lb-ft at 11,250 rpm, down from 91.2 lb-ft at 9,500 rpm on the 2024 version.

Other changes include a longer 59.1-inch wheelbase, up from 57.8 inches, and a slightly taller overall height. The 2025 Panigale V4 is also expected to be a couple of pounds lighter, with a certified tare weight of 604 lbs.

Ducati is expected to officially unveil the 2025 Panigale V4 and V4 S later this year, potentially at World Ducati Week later this month. Ducati will no doubt be eager to see if the updates live up to their high expectations.
