Oset Bikes Launches New Electric Off-Road Motorcycles with Convertible Seat Option

The new TXP range from Oset Bikes represents a significant advancement in electric off-road motorcycles. The name "TXP" stands for Trials, Xplore, and Play, highlighting the versatility and adaptability of these bikes. With two seat options available, riders can easily convert the bike from a trials machine to a traditional dirt bike, making it suitable for a wide range of riding environments.

The TXP models have undergone a complete redesign, with every element of the bike developed to deliver outstanding performance. The bikes are suitable for riders of all skill levels, from beginners to world-class trials competitors. This makes the TXP range ideal for riders looking to develop their skills across different disciplines.

The brushless motor in the TXP bikes is a notable improvement over previous models. It provides double the power and increased torque, delivering a more exhilarating riding experience. The lithium battery has also been upgraded, offering up to 4 hours of runtime in normal use. The battery can be rapidly recharged in just 90 minutes to 90% capacity, minimizing downtime and maximizing riding time.

To ensure a comfortable and customizable ride, the TXP bikes feature fully adjustable air suspension. This allows riders to personalize the suspension settings to suit their preferences and riding style. Whether tackling rough terrain or performing precise trials maneuvers, the suspension can be fine-tuned for optimal performance.

Safety is a top priority for Oset Bikes, and the TXP range includes several features to ensure rider protection. The parent lock function allows parents or guardians to control the speed, power, and response settings of the bike, providing a safe and controlled riding experience for younger riders. The bikes also come equipped with a range of safety features, such as impact rubber chin protectors and ball-ended brake levers.

The TXP-20 is designed for children aged 7-10, with a maximum weight limit of 132 pounds. It offers increased battery capacity compared to previous models, ensuring longer riding sessions. The TXP-24 is aimed at pre-teens, teens, and adults, with a maximum weight limit of 198.4 pounds. It boasts significant improvements over its predecessor, including 50% more battery capacity and double the power.

Oset Bikes is known for its commitment to getting kids on motorcycles and promoting fun and skill development. With the TXP range, riders can choose to compete in trials, explore off-road trails, or simply enjoy recreational riding. The ability to easily switch between trials and explore configurations ensures that the same bike can cater to a wide range of riding preferences and abilities.

The TXP-20 has a suggested retail price of $3,995, while the TXP-24 is priced at $4,495. Both models are expected to be available at Oset Bikes dealerships globally at the beginning of 2024. For those interested in experiencing the TXP bikes firsthand, Oset Bikes will be showcasing them at the NEC's Motorcycle Live event, providing attendees with the opportunity to test ride the bikes for free.
