Husqvarna Unveils the 2024 Svartpilen 801: A Fresh Take on the Middleweight Motorcycle

Husqvarna is set to release the 2024 Svartpilen 801, a new version of its middleweight motorcycle. This model is equipped with a parallel-twin engine and weighs approximately 399 pounds. While Husqvarna claims it is "brand new," it bears many similarities to the KTM 790 Duke, including the engine and frame.

The 2024 Svartpilen 801 features a 799cc parallel-twin engine that produces 105 horsepower and has a torque peak of 64 lb.-ft. The engine is lightweight and has extended service intervals of up to 15,000 kilometers. The frame has been redesigned, and the bike has a cleaner-looking muffler, a lower seat, and a larger tank. The bodywork has a sleeker design with sharper edges, and the front LED headlight arrangement has been revised.

The bike comes with adjustable handlebars and a 5-inch color TFT display. It also features advanced rider aids such as Easy Shift for clutchless shifting, Power Assist Slipper Clutch, and adjustable Motorcycle Traction Control and cornering ABS.

The 2024 Svartpilen 801 will be available in April 2024 and will retail for $10,899.

Overall, the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 offers a fresh and contemporary take on the middleweight motorcycle, combining sleek design, powerful performance, and advanced rider aids.
